WELCOME TO GATRAC - THE COOPERATION NETWORK OF ONTRAS, NET4GAS and EUSTREAM!
GATRAC (Gas Transport Cooperation) is a cross-border partnership of the European gas transmission system operators ONTRAS - VNG Gastransport GmbH/Germany,
NET4GAS, s.r.o./Czech Republic and EUSTREAM, a.s./Slovak Republic.
GATRAC simplifies cross-border transportation between Germany and the Czech Republic and between the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic,
and makes it more transparent by indicating available capacity, applicable tariff systems and other information about the networks of the cooperation partners.
GATRAC offers different capacity products for cross-border gas transportation from the Czech Republic (Czech Virtual Trading Point)
to the German market areas GASPOOL as well as NCG in Germany, and from the Czech Republic (Czech Virtual Trading Point) to
the Slovak Republic (Slovak Virtual Trading point and/or Hub Baumgarten located at border point Baumgarten), and vice versa.
The GATRAC project contributes to the European efforts to establish a single European market. Although the transmission system operators belong
to different Gas Regional Initiatives of the European Regulators Group for Electricity and Gas, through GATRAC they bridge regional differences
and support the way towards a competitive and coherent European market.
GATRAC is open for new partners to join the cooperation. A geographical extension of the cooperation is envisaged in the upcoming months.
